By Nabaraj Kattel, Biratnagar, Aug. 10: A judge of Morang District Court has tested positive for COVID-19.
He was found with the virus infection during contact tracing of those who had come in direct contact with an infected police inspector of Morang District Police Office.
According to Yubara Poudel, the information officer of the court, swab samples of four court officials including the judge was collected for Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test during contact tracing.
After the judge was found with the virus infection, the district court has been closed for three days, starting from Monday itself, said Poudel.
The regular hearing has also been postponed.
There are 120 officials in the Morang District Court.
