Kathmandu, Dec. 22: Kathmandu Euro School's pre-school Euro Kids Gongabu honoured recently crowned Miss Nepal Namrata Shrestha. Namrata is a teacher of Euro Kids.
Mayor Prakash Adhikari of Tokha Municipality and Tokha Municipality Ward No. 8 Chairman Keshav Bahadur Khatri jointly feted Namrata with a letter of appreciation and Rs 25,000.
Namrata proved that a teacher has other skills besides teaching, Mayor Adhikari said.
Likewise, Pramod Pandey, director of Euro Kids, said the achievement of Namrata has made the whole school family happy and proud. Even though the prize money is small, we have honored her as an appreciation of success. Namrata is a good, diligent, honest and conscientious teacher,” Director Pandey added.
Namrata had served at Euro Kids for about 2 years. Namrata thanked the school family for the honour and expressed her commitment to play some role with the school in coming days.
