By Amrit Prasad Paudel, Beni, Oct 14: Foreign Minister Pradeep Kumar Gyawali and Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supply Lekhraj Bhatta has arrived in upper Mustang to make an onsite inspection of Koranal border point between Nepal and China.
Jagadish Aryal, information officer of Mustang district who is also assistant Chief District Officer, said the ministers flew on a helicopter directly to the border point from Kathmandu.
The ministers are accompanied by secretaries at their respective ministries and Federal Parliament members as well as State Assembly members from the district, according to assistant CDO Aryal.
Aryal said that the ministers were visiting the border point with a view to promoting and developing the border point with China for trade in addition to inspecting it.
Those who reached Korala for inspection visit include members of district security committee, Prem Tulachan, member of the House of Representative and State Assembly members, Indra Dhara Bista, Mahendra Thakali and Chandra Mohan Gauchan.
