Lalitpur, July 3: Mayor of Lalitpur Metropolitan City (LMC), Chiribabu Maharjan has pledged to move ahead consulting with all members in coming days.
With the members of the municipal assembly boycotting the presentation of sixth policy and programme and budget of LMC for the fiscal year 2021/22, Mayor Maharjan on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding and made commitment to adopt the culture of consultation and collaboration in coming days.
The memorandum is jointly signed by mayor Maharjan, ward-3 chairperson on behalf of the CPN-UML and ward-21 (Khokana) chairperson Rabindra Maharjan on behalf of the CPN-Maoist Centre.
According to the memorandum, the three parties agreed to move ahead in coordination and collaboration with all sides in the executive meeting, finalize the charter of demands put forth in different dates earlier and continue with the executive meeting.
