Police have arrested CP Gajurel, leader of Communist Party of Nepal Revolutionary Maoist today from Maitighar, Kathmandu, informed Senior Superintendent and spokesperson of Metropolitan Police Office, Shyamlal Gyawali.
Gajurel was arrested while he tried to violate the prohibition, while demonstrating at Maitighar.
Other party workers along with Gajurel were arrested while they tried to move towards federal parliament of Nepal at New Baneshwor.
