Galkot, July 6 : The rain-triggered landslides have damaged and blocked Baglung road section along the Mid-Hill Highway.
The landslides that occurred Monday night at Suntali Ghumti and Bayal Danda at Kothekhola Rural Municipality and Bokse at Baglung Municipality-3 have shut off the road section, according to Mid-Hill Highway Project Office's engineer Ujjwal Sharma.
Sharma informed that efforts were underway to clear the landslide debris in the road sections and resume traffic today itself.
Meanwhile, traffic movement along the Baglung-Balewa road section has been stalled due to landslide. Furthermore, road leading to Kali Gandaki Corridor has been blocked by landslide, shared Iqbal Hawari, Information Officer at the District Police Office, Baglung.
Likewise, landslide occurred at Saharsha Dhara in Parbat district that lies along Baglung-Pokhara road section has obstructed the road section leaving hundreds of passengers stranded.
