Sudurpaschim, Apr. 8: Nepali Congress (NC) central member Dr Arzoo Rana Deuba said the government was distributing land to the landless people in its bid to implement fundamental rights of the citizen.
Opening the handover of land ownership certificates to the landless of Dhangadhi sub-metropolis-9 amidst a programme on Friday, she further said, "It is the fundamental right of the landless citizens to obtain land and residence facilities. The government was striving its best efforts to address this overarching need".
As shared, the Landless Problem Solving Commission today started the handover of land ownership certificates to the landless people of Dhangadhi sub-metropolis.
The government was aware of the problems of the landless people, she said, informing that the land ownership certificates would be handed over to the remaining landless squatters.
Deputy Mayor of Dhangahdi sub-metropolis Sushila Mishra Bhatta said they have emphatically been dealing the problems of landless people of the area.
