By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Sept. 25: Lalitpur Metropolitan City Mayor Chiribabu Maharjan has tested positive for COVID-19.
Raju Maharjan, spokesperson of the metropolis, confirmed of this to the TRN Online.
Swab of Mayor Maharjan was given to Patan hospital yesterday for PCR test after he felt headache and the report of the test received today revealed that he was infected with the novel coronavirus.
Mayo Maharjan is in home isolation, according to spokesperson Raju Maharjan.
