Baglung, Nov. 2: Popular folk singer Bishnu Khatri has made his song Lahure Ba Ko Aagani public targeting the upcoming Tihar festival.
Targeting the festival of light, singer Khatri released the traditional Deusi Bhailo song through his own YouTube channel.
The song depicts the role of a leader and a teacher and life of an old man (Lahure Baa).
Released on Friday, the song has already been viewed by over 46,000.
Inhabitant of Maljanme, in Galkot Municipality -7, Baglung district, singer Khatri has been active in folk song since 2001.
Singer Khatri said that the song was released targeting the upcoming festival of Tihar and it tries to convey the message about various aspects of our society through Deusi Bhailo song.
Along with singer Khatri, singers Tika Pun and Muna Thapa have lent their voice. The music video directed by Hom Gurung, features Nirmal Chetteri, Samjhana Khatri and Sakuna Khatri.
Earlier, Singer Khatri had released Bhariya Dai, Bepatta Pariwar, Kisan, Lahure and Sunpani among others.
He has been releasing new songs every year on the occasion of Dashain and Tihar.
