Makawanpur, Nov. 13

Members of the House of Representatives and State Assembly of Constituency No. 2 of Makawanpur district have worked for a balanced allocation of development budget in their constituency.

Birod Khatiwada, the member of the House of Representatives, and Indra Bahadur Baniya of the State Assembly, have jointly allocated the budget to some important development projects of the constituency so that they could complete them in time.

Khatiwada and Baniya said that they had deliberately allocated the development budget of both federal and state level to complete some of the projects of people’s interest and needs in time.

A few days ago, Khatiwada had allocated Rs. 5 million to construct the Parewabhir section of road in Raksirang Rural Municipality Ward No. 1.

At the meantime Baniya, who is State Assembly member of State 3, had also allocated Rs. 5 million for the Bitbari-Pariwabhir section of the same road.

Raj Kumar Malla, chairman of Raksirang Rural Municipality, said that the total budget worth Rs. 10 million provided by both the parliamentarians would be spent in the current fiscal year.

Similarly, both the leaders have allocated Rs. 5 million individually for Dillipur-Basantapur road of Manahari Rural Municipality Ward No. 5.

As Manahari Rural Municipality has also allocated Rs. 5 million budgets, it now has  Rs. 15 million for the upgrading of Dillipur-Basantapur road this fiscal year.

Khatiwada and Baniya have also provided budget jointly to other small projects of their constituency.
