Baitedi, Nov 16 (RSS):
A three-day training for office-bearers of the judicial committees of seven local governments of Baitedi has concluded. The training was organised by the District Coordination Committee with the support of United Nations Fund for Population Activities (UNFPA).
During the training, the participants discussed about the legal knowledge essential to execute justice at the local level. The training is expected to help make the judicial committee work effective, said Purchaundi municipality judicial committee coordinator Janaki Bam.
The training was organised with the objective of enhancing the capacity of the judicial committee office-bearers and to help justice delivery at the local level, said district programme officer of UNFPA Ganesh Shahi. The second round of training will cover judicial committees in three more local level units, the DCC said.
