By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec. 7: Journalist Rajan Karki has come up with a new book entitled Jwalamukhimathi Desh (Nation on the volcano).
Published by Ratna Sagar Publications, the book argues that wrong leadership has led the beautiful country to disarray, a place of the volcano.
Reviewing the book in the launching programme, political analyst Prof. Dr. Surendra KC viewed that people's anger could blow up at any time as the country was in the state of a volcano.
"Citizens are getting poorer, industries dilapidated whereas the political leaders are enjoying," he said.
He observed that in the last 30 years, as many as 185 political parties were registered but over 3000 industrial companies were shut down, and consequently the country has become more dependent.
He blamed the political system for the existing anomalies and viewed that the book has shed light on the same scenario.
Dr. Shashtra Datta Pant, said that the book is focused on the nationality of the country. He complained that the condition of the people has not changed much despite changes in political systems in the last 30 years.
International boundary expert Buddhi Narayan Shrestha noted that a love for the soil and the country has been expressed in the book.
