By Mukunda Gaire, Kathmandu, Jun. 2: The meeting of Chief District Officers of three districts of the Kathmandu Valley is being held today.
"The meeting will take place after 2:00 pm in the afternoon. The decision as to extending the ongoing prohibitory order will be finalised in the meeting," said Dhundi Prasad Niraula, Lalitpur CDO.
Meanwhile, according to Bhaktapur CDO Prem Prasad Bhattarai, the lockdown might be extended for seven to 10 days.
As the ongoing prohibitory order is ending from Thursday night, the CDOs are holding talks to extend the restrictions with some modifications considering the threat of the spread of the virus.
"In the meeting held yesterday, talks were held to allow opening grocery and departmental stores until 9:00 am in the morning," said Bhattarai.
