Infra partnership budget to build roads in Makawanpur

Hetauda, Nov. 11: Member of the House of Representatives (HoR) from Makwanpur District-2 Birodh Khatiwada has recommended a budget of Rs. 60 million for Infrastructure Development Partnership programme.
The programme was supposed to run on recommendation of the member of HoR.
Following a news story published in The Rising Nepal about the risk the locals of Raksirang and Kailash Rural Municipalities had been taking while commuting through Parewabhir, the local government, state government and federal government had been paying attention to the issue.
From the total budget, Rs. 5 million each has been allocated for the construction of road in Dungu-Parewabhir section of Raksirang Rural Municipality.
According to Khatiwada, construction of Dillipur-Basantapur, Bajramath-Sikari, Gaun-Mahachuni and Mandir-Kodokhoriya-Magepauwa roads of Manahari Rural Municipality-5 and Halbari-Alche-Kapsari road construction, construction of Bajrabarahi Park at Indrasarobar and Upper Suping Drinking water plan of Kailash Rural Municipality were the other major plans within the budget.
Likewise, Khatiwada also recommended the plans with a minimum of budget, such as, five plans in Manahari Rural Municipality, three in Bhimphedi, two in Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City, four each in Thaha, Raksirang and Kailash Municipalities and two each in Makwanpurgadhi and Indrasarobar Rural Municipalities.
The budget was allocated to develop health, education, drinking water, physical infrastructure, and tourism sectors of Makawanpur area No. 2, said Khatiwada.
Khatiwada said that the budget was allocated in coordination with the chiefs of the local government.
