Dang, Dec 2 : Newly-elected State Assembly member Bimala Khatri (Oli) has committed to always work in favour of the people. She was elected to the State Assembly from Dang constituency number 3 (B).
Receiving certificate of her election to the post from Chief Returning Officer Ritendra Thapa today, Khatri thanked the people for handing her victory in the election.
"The people of my constituency have given me the responsibility of fulfilling the dreams of late Uttar Kumar Oli and I will fulfill this responsibility," she said. She is the widow of late Uttar Kumar Oli.
She thanked all voters, all the security bodies deputed for the election security, the chief returning officer and representatives, employees of all level of governments, party leaders and cadres, journalists and all.
On the occasion, Chief District Officer Govinda Prasad Rijal congratulated the newly-elected lawmaker.
