Kathmandu, Aug. 8: Senior leader of CPN-UML Madhav Kumar Nepal has said he had been trying to resolve the problems seen within the party.
Referring to the party chairman KP Sharma Oli, Nepal said the omniscient personality in the party leadership had been creating problems in UML.
Speaking at a programme organized by the sister organization of UML close to his faction on Saturday, he said that he wanted to move ahead by resolving problems that arise within the party but it would not be done by his single effort.
He said, “The egoistic tendencies are seen within the party. The feelings of togetherness began to fade. The knowledge and experiences of others have started being neglected. An omniscient point of view started growing. This has created problems within the party.”
“We are ready to sort out the problems by correctly identifying the cause. We want to give new life to the party with the same objective,” he said, adding that he was ready to serve the country and the people by uniting all the communist parties.
Senior leader Nepal also called upon the leaders and cadres close to his faction to be honest and behave well with others.
He also suggested chairman Oli to move forward by acknowledging his mistakes.
