Kathmandu, June 30 : Gurjo campaigner Kamal Bahadur Rajalwat has been feted for his promotional campaign of the medicinal herb as an immunity booster.
He has been freely distributing the tea and powder made up of gurjo (Tinospora Cordifolia) to make people aware of its power to boost up immunity.
At a programme organized by Patanjali Yoga Committee Bhaktapur on Tuesday, member of the dissolved House of Representatives Mahesh Basnet felicitated Rajatwal with shawl and a garland of Rudrakshya.
On the occasion, 200 saplings of gurjo were also planted at public spot in Bhaktapur municipality-2. Also present at the programme were Bagmati province assembly member Pratima Shrestha, deputy mayor of Suryabinayak municipality Juna Basnet, and former general secretary of Patanjali Yoga Committee and yoga master Kishor Kumar Joshi.
