Tanahu, Oct. 5 : The GP Koirala Respiratory Disease Treatment Centre in Belchautara in ward no. 5 of Sukhlagandaki municipality has resumed its service. Services at the hospital had remained closed since a laboratory staff tested positive to Corona Virus on October 1.
Another five staffers of the hospital were found carrying the virus in a test carried out of 50 persons based on contact tracing. All services have been resumed from Sunday, Executive Director of the Centre Dr Ram Kumar Shrestha said.
The centre was made fully safe before resuming the service.
Meanwhile, Medical Superintendent of Damauli Hospital Dr Sunil Poudel has also tested positive to Corona Virus.
The hospital's office assistant was also found carrying the virus. Three more staffers of the hospital await their results of PCR test.
Currently, the service of the hospital is under operation.
A decision will be taken after a test is carried out of others based on contact tracing of those infected, the hospital sources said.
