Govt to upgrade Hetauda Hospital: Minister Khatiwada

Hetauda, Nov. 22: Minister for Health and Population Birodh Khatiwada Sunday inspected the Hetauda Hospital run under the Madan Bhandari Academy of Health Sciences.
On the occasion, he instructed the hospital management to provide prompt and quality health services to general people.    
Minister Khatiwada also handed over an ambulance with modern facilities to Hetauda Hospital on behalf the government.  
  
Earlier on Saturday, Minister Khatiwada said that the government was working for the wellbeing of citizens in the health sector.
“The government has a goal of upgrading the hospitals under the supervision of the federal and province governments,” Minister Khatiwada said while inaugurating Aagra Health Post of Thaha Muinicipality-8 in Makawanpur on Saturday.

Minister Khatiwada said that the government would allocate budget for the development projects whose foundation stones were laid earlier.
He said health posts would be set up soon in the remote areas for providing affordable health services to the locals.   

Quality of services at hospitals would also be improved by opening vacancies for the required number of posts of the doctors and other manpower.  
  On the occasion, Minister Khatiwada stated that initiatives were being made to release budget for holding election of the local bodies.
“As the federal government has already directed the Election Commission to prepare the schedule of the local level elections by mid-May this year, we have started making arrangements,” he said.
