Kathmandu, June 5 : The government is to take stern action against those obstructing the transportation of essential supplies during the lockdown.
The Ministry of Home Affairs, in a press release on Thursday, stated that stern action would taken against anyone found causing obstruction in the transportation, sale and distribution of vegetables and groceries in view of the government's decision to creating an environment conducive towards that end.
Noting that the local administration has not caused any kind of obstruction in the production, collection, transportation, and sale and distribution of any essential produce including vegetables and fruits after following the health safety standards, the Ministry has directed the bodies under it to take action against anyone creating obstacles.
