Chitwan, July 30 : A goods container bound towards Kathmandu from Biratnagar fell into the Trishuli river from near Nagdikhola of Ichhakamana Rural Municipality-5 this morning.
The container has gone missing in the river. The vehicle with number plate Na 3 Kha 8987 fell off the road as it collided with a truck (Na 6 Kha 5687), the District Police Office, Chitwan said. The driver of the truck is slightly injured in the incident and is being treated at a local medical facility.
It is said the container was carrying goods belonging to Bhatbhateni Super Market. A search is on for the missing container, District Police Office spokesman Surya Bahadur Thapa said.
