A house caught fire in Lalitpur Metropolitan City-10, Juwagal district after a cooking gas cylinder exploded on Friday.
According to Lalitpur Fire Brigade, a gas cylinder exploded at a rented room of Shanta Pariyar owned by Laxmi Shahi this afternoon.
In the blast, no human casualty was reported, according to Lalitpur Fire Brigade employee Raj Kumar Thakuri.
Following the blast, a three-storey house of Shahi caught fire.
As soon they knew the incident, a firefighting engine reached the site and doused the fire within an hour.
Metropolitan Police Office Pulchowk has yet to collect the details and the loss of property in the blast.
