By Deepak Gyawali, Butwal, Apr 19: Four new ministers have been inducted in the Lumbini provincial government today, a few hours after a no-confidence motion was registered against Chief Minister Shankar Pokharel.
Those inducted as new ministers are the leaders of one of the political parties, Janata Samajwadi Party that registered the no-trust proposal.
Two ministers had tendered resignation today itself, and Chief Minister Pokharel fulfilled the vacant ministries with the new four ministers.
Newly appointed ministers, Santosh Pandey, minister for Physical Infrastructure Development, Bijay Gupta, Minister for Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives, Kalpana Pandey, Minister for Education and Social Development took the oath of office and secrecy from Provincial Chief Dharmanath Yadav while CM Pokharel administered oath of office and secrecy to Suman Rayamajhi, state minister for Physical Infrastructure Development.
