Sindhupalchok, July 19 : The Self Reliant Centre has distributed sanitary materials to 90 families of PanchpokhariThangpala Rural Municiplaity-2 in the district.
The flood and landslide survivors were provided with food stuffs, sanitary materials and dignity kits said programme coordinator Kumar Thapa.
He also shared that the flood victim women were provided with dignity kits as well.
The dignity kits contain menstrual pads, bath soap, underwear, detergent powder, sanitary napkins, toothpaste, toothbrush, and comb.
The Start Fund Assistance, Care Nepal, People in Need and the Centre had collected these materials.
Meanwhile, 80 bundles of corrugated zinc sheets have been provided to 16 flood-affected households in Helambu rural municipality. The in-kind support was provided in cooperation with the Tear Fund Nepal and in partnership of Hands of Compassion, Nepal.
The organisation has supported Rs 2.75 million in foodstuff, health materials and employment creation to the rural municipality since the first wave of the COVID-19.
