Kathmandu, Nov 4 : Former Speaker and Member of the House of Representatives, Krishna Bahadur Mahara has been bereaved of his wife.
His wife Sita Mahara breathed her last while receiving treatment at Thapathali-based Norvic Hospital this morning. She was 59.
She has been afflicting from Myasthenia disease for the past 10 years and suffered from respiratory complications and Pneumonia lately. She was taken to Kathmandu from Dang for further treatment on October 30.
She was admitted to Dang-based Gorkha Hospital on October 29 after she complained of health complications while she was at ancestral home at Rolpa Mewang in Dashain.
According to the family sources, she had tested positive for the coronavirus in course of the treatment. She was survived by two sons and two daughters.
