Kathmandu, Dec 18: CPN (UML)'s immediate past vice-chair Dr Bhim Bahadur Rawal has been entrusted with the responsibility of a member of the central advisory council.
Dr Rawal had contested with KP Sharma Oli in the presidential race in the recently-held 10th National Congress of UML. Rawal was defeated in the election.
CPN (UML's general-secretary Shanker Pokharel said the party has designated him as a central advisory member after he remained reluctant to become a candidate for central member despite filing candidacy for a chair as per the party statute.
Chair Oli and Dr Rawal would consult to finalize added responsibility to Rawal.
