Dhulikhel, June 3 : Dhulikhell municipality is set to disburse Rs 15,000 each to the families of those succumbing to coronavirus infection.
The municipality shared that the decision was made to ease and boost the confidence of the families of the deceased in the critical time of COVID-19 pandemic.
“We hope the municipality’s token support would somehow provide relief to the families of the deceased”, said Dhulikhel Mayor Ashok Byanju. He also informed that the municipality has intensified its campaign to know the status of the coronavirus infected, bring them to the scope of test and provide health support including medicines to the infected family members.
Since the onset of second wave of the COVID-19, Dhulikhel municipality has of far traced 311 active infected including 188 men. As of today, 28 people have succumbed to coronavirus in Dhulikhel.
Meanwhile, 325 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus infection in Kavrepalanchowk in the past 24 hours.
