Galkot, April 11 : Dhaulagiri Hospital Baglung has finally received three ventilators necessary for the treatment of people infected with coronavirus. The Ministry of Health and Population had sent the medical equipment.
After two persons from the district were found infected with COVID-19, the district has been considered a high risk zone.
The Hospital informed that the COVID-19 patients were currently receiving treatment at isolation bed. The federal ministry sent two ventilators and Gandaki State's Ministry of Social Development one to the Hospital.
If the COVID-19 patients feel problem in breathing, they must be supported with ventilators. But till now, there was no such facility. Senior lab technician at Department of Health Service, Dhana Prasad Poudel, handed over the ventilators to the Dhaulagiri Hospital on behalf of the federal ministry, said Shaligram Sharma, member of the Hospital Development Committee.
