Humla, Jan. 17: A Deuda song competition held at Unapani of Sarkegard Rural Municipality-Ward-3, Humla, on Friday.
The competition was organised with the aim of conveying the message of cleanliness and ways to stay safe from coronavirus.
The competition was held between the members of women groups of the village, said Gajbir Rawat, Ward Chairman of Sarkegard- 3.
The competition was held a day after the Mage Snkranti Day because there were other funs on the Mage Sankranti, said Rawat, adding that a public awareness campaign on sanitation and coronavirus was also conducted.
Eleven women's groups from the village participated in the competition.
Women donned in local costumes sang five Deuda songs. Prizes were also given to the winners.
