By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec. 28: As many as 241 people have been found infected with the novel coronavirus in the PCR tests of 8,536 people in the last 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 23 people were found infected in the antigen tests of 4,030 people.
Meanwhile, 260 people have recovered from the virus infection that causes COVID-19 and the recovery rate in Nepal stands at 97.9 per cent.
Two persons have succumbed to the virus infection in the last 24 hours, which takes the national COVID-19 death tally to 11,588.
There are 4910 active cases of COVID-19 across the country as of today, according to the MoHP, abd 283,265 people were vaccinated against the virus in the last 24 hours.
