Kathmandu, Nov. 4: Finance Minister Janardan Sharma on Thursday said that the country has to endure poverty due to failure to properly manage and mobilise resources. So, the incumbent government is at work to mobilise resources, said Sharma, also a leader of the CPN (Maoist Centre) at an event organised by the Maoist Centre, Kageshwori Manohara Municipality Committee on the occasion of Nepal Sambat and Tihar festival.
Civil servants should serve the people but not to rule them to free the country of poverty, he said. “All sorts of things including sources of petrol are available in Nepal. The country is facing poverty due to failure to properly manage and mobilise these things,” he said.
All citizens should have a resolution to build the nation alongside the implementation of the government’s policies to make the country self-reliant, he said.
