Kanchanpur, April 7 : A 45-year-old coronavirus-infected of Bhimdutta municipality-15 died while undergoing treatment at Mahakali Hospital.
Diagnosed with the coronavirus, he was admitted to the hospital. He had returned from Gujarat, India on April 4.
He died while being treated at the hospital, confirmed District Health Office Kanchanpur in-charge Shivaraj Sunar.
As informed, the dead body of the infected would be managed this afternoon. This is so far the first death incident in Kanchanpur following the second wave.
Earlier, as many as 14 coronavirus infected had lost their lives in Kanchanpur. After the second wave, 64 out of 980 tested through Antigen have been found infected with the virus.
Twelve among them are undergoing treatment at isolation center of the Mahakali Hospital.
Two persons of Bhimdutta municiplaity-2 were diagnosed with the coronavirus in Kanchanpur.
