Bagmati, May 14 : Bagmati Province Chief Minister Dormani Poudel has said the constitution has taken the ownership of country’s class, linguistic, religious and cultural diversities.
In his message of best wishes today on the occasion of the Eid-Ul-Fitra, the greatest festival of the Islams, the Chief Minister said Nepal is, being a multi-linguistic, multi-cultural and multi-religious country, a diverse nation and unity in such diversity is its distinct identity.
He has offered Eid greetings to the entire Mulslim people at home and abroad, wishing them good health, happiness, peace and prosperity.
He further added we were not in the position of celebrating the festival as in the past due to the Covid-19 pandemic, urging all to celebrate the Eid within a close family circle by taking health safety measures. He wished the festival may inspire all to combat the virus.
