By Basanta Parajuli, Bharatpur, Aug. 28: Chitwan has recorded two COVID-19 related deaths today.
A 51-year-old male of Bharatpur Metropolitan City (BMC)-2 succumbed to the novel coronavirus infection while receiving treatment at Pushpanjali Hospital, informed Purna Bahadur Shrestha, ward chair of BMC-2.
The deceased was husband of a local representative.
Prior to this, a 71-year old female COVID-19 patient of Hetauda, Makwanpur, had died while receiving treatment at Chitwan Medical College.
