Kathmandu, Nov 16: Chandragiri Hills Resort has won the 'International Hospitality and Travel Award 2019'.
Lawmaker at Indian Rajya Sabha and former minister Bijay Goyal handed over the award to the founding chairman and proprietor of Chandragiri Hills, Hemraj Dhakal, at a programme in India on Friday.
In the same programme, General Manager of the Hills, Abhishek Bikram Shah, was conferred on the 'Best Young General Manager of the Year' award.
The award is given every year by the Tourism Development Corporation of India, Hospitality India and GTC Events.
These organizations provide the award every year to the hotel, resort, air service and tourism organizations in South Asia.
Proprietor Dhakal reacted that the award was also the recognition to Nepal's tourism sector.
