Kathmandu, Jan 14 : Some parts of the country’s hilly region are likely to witness rain today due to an impact of westerly wind, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division of Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
The Department stated that there will be partly cloudy in Province 1, Province 2 and Sudurpaschim Province and while the parts in rest of the country will remain mainly fair. Light rain is likely to occur at one or two places of Province 1, it said.
Likewise, the Department has asked one and all to apply needed security and precaution against cold adding that the mercury could go further down in the coming 24 hours.
The Kathmandu Valley recorded minimum 4.6 degree Celsius and maximum 16.5 degree Celsius today.
