Dhanusha, July 6: Chairperson of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has expressed the belief that the House of Representatives would be reinstated.
Chair Prachanda, who arrived at Janakpurdham today to pay tribute to CPN (Maoist Centre) central committee member, Mahadev Yadav, said that the Supreme Court would issue a mandamus to make Nepali Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba as the Prime Minister on the basis of signatures of 146 lawmakers submitted at the SC.
The HoR dissolution case is under consideration at SC. The next date of hearing the case has been fixed for July 12.
The former Prime Minister blamed the incumbent Prime Minister for exerting unnecessary pressure on the SC.
On a different note, he clarified that he is always in favour of the constitution amendment, confessing that the constitution has some lapses. He further said that Province no 2 should be named Madhesh province.
On the occasion, Chair Prachanda paid tribute to party central committee member Yadav by laying the party flag over Yadav’s body.
Hailing from Sahidnagar municipality-1 of Dhanusha district, Yadav was suffering from cancer since long.
