Kathmandu, Aug 11 : A book entitled ‘Civil Criminal Code: A Note’ encompassing simplified presentation and analysis of country’s criminal code was launched amidst a programme at the apex court.
Supreme Court Chief Registrar Nripadhoj Niraula made public the book authored by the Assistant Registrar of the Supreme Court Bishnu Prasad Pandey on Monday.
On the occasion Chief Registrar Niraula commented the book as a significant resource which incorporates the notes of civil criminal code dealing with emerging new types of offenses along with necessary amendment to traditional laws related to criminal offense.
He also expressed his confidence that the social, national and international context also invite timely changes in the country’s legal system as the activity of a country also equally affects another due to globalization.
Deputy Registrar Padma Prasad Pandey said the book would be beneficial for the users as it has incorporated theoretical description of criminal code, code provisions, constitutional provisions, international practice and apex court explanation on cases.
