Kathmandu, April 29 : Banks and financial institutions would remain open in Kathmandu Valley during prohibitory period imposed here from today.
Issuing a press release, Nepal Bankers’ Association said that all branches of banks and financial institutions would remain open during the prohibitory time.
The Association urged the clients not to visit banks and financial institutions except essential case, though the branches of banks and financial institution would remain open during the prohibitory period.
Association Chair Bhuwan Dahal said that they have requested clients not to make crowd at banks and financial institutions and to make online transaction rather than cash transaction.
Saying ATM booths would also remain open during the prohibitory period, the Association urged the clients having internet/mobile banking service if they suffer any technical problem.
