Hetauda, Mar. 9: Bagmati State Police office has joined hands to launch awareness programmes for the prevention of possible outbreak of novel coronavirus in the state.
The police are launching the campaign with an objective of lessening the unnecessary threat regarding the deadly coronavirus that has spread globally. The campaign is expected to reduce possible infection after making people alert on prevention measures, its symptoms and its treatment.
According to officiating chief of the state police SSP Kishor Kumar Dahal, the police are launching the campaign across the state realizing the social responsibility as the whole world is panicked with its possible outbreak and worse effects in some countries.
The programme would be launched in schools, colleges and public places after preparing awareness videos and other materials by engaging health specialists, health workers and health persons from the police organization itself.
Meanwhile, training has been conducted for police officers and personnel from Bagmati Police Riot Control Unit in view of its preparation.
