Kathmandu, Nov 1: A shipment of AstraZeneca, the vaccine against COVID-19, has arrived in Nepal from the Maldives. Nepal received 201,600 doses of vaccines last night from the Maldives under the COVAX facility.
According to the Child Health and Immunisation Section, Family Welfare Division, the Department of Health Services, the vaccines have been stored at Teku.
So far in Nepal, 8 million 668 thousand 592 people have received the first dose of the vaccine while 7 million 189 thousand 689 have got the full course.
