By A Staff Reporter, Kathmandu, Jan 24: The police have arrested All Nepal Football Association Kaski district chair Milan Gurung. The ANFA Kaski chair had filed a case against Gandaki State lawmaker Rajiv Gurung alias Deepak Manage.
Kaski district police spokesperson deputy superintendent of police (DSP) Raj Kumar KC informed today that ANFA Kaski Chair Gurung was arrested to investigate on the charge of banking fraud.
Gurung was taken into control on the basis of complaint filed by Hari Bhakta Acharya, owner of Om Gaura Jostle and that probe into his involvement in the case was on, according to DSP KC.
With regard to Manange who was arrested on Jan 23 following ANFA Kaski Chair’s complaint of misbehaviour, DSP KC said that the Kaski district administration office granted the police two more days to keep Manange in custody for further investigation. He said that preparations were underway to file a public offence case against the Gandaki state lawmaker Manange.
