By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Nov. 24: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) on Tuesday confirmed 947 new cases of COVID-19 in Kathmandu Valley.
Of the total 1,790 new infections recorded across the nation on Tuesday, 947 new cases, 410 females and 537 males were recorded in the Kathmandu Valley itself, revealed the MoHP in its daily update.
Currently, there are 7,744 active cases of COVID-19 in Kathmandu. The capital city's COVID-19 tally stands at 84,517 including 76,442 recoveries and331 fatalities.
Likewise, Bhaktapur has recorded 7,588 infections until now of which, 6,893 patients have already recovered while 87 succumbed to the infection. There are 608 active cases in Bhaktapur.
Lalitpur district has recorded 12,577 cases of novel coronavirus infection until now including 10,897 recoveries and 91 deaths. Currently, there are 1,589 active cases in Lalitpur.
