Biratnagar, April 14 : Six hundred and seventy people have tested negative for coronavirus in State-1 as of Monday. Of the 233 throat swab samples collected from as many suspected coronavirus cases, 213 samples tested negative as per the PCR test. More, 357 throat swab samples have tested negative under rapid diagnostic test (RDT).
The State-1 Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers, Information Desk stated that throat swab samples were collected from 233 people including 38 women. Out of this, the lab report of 20 samples is awaited.
Five hundred and seventy two people, including 49 women, have been kept in quarantine facilities with 4,411 beds in the State. Similarly, 10 people including four women have been kept in isolation. There are 446 isolation beds. Likewise, 44 ICU beds have been kept ready for the treatment of COVID-19 patients.
Fifty four people including five women who were in quarantine facilities have returned home while 3,507 people, including 612 women are in home quarantine. Meanwhile, 654 units of personal protective equipment (PPE) have been distributed in the State-1 until Monday, according to the Information Desk.
