By Navin Shishir BK, Baglung, Apr. 20: As many as 39 students of Janatadhan Secondary School, Baglung Municipality-2, in Baglung district have been found infected with SARS-CoV-2.
Dev Prakash Ghimire, Corona focal person of District Health Office, Baglung, said that swabs of 98 students and teachers were sent for PCR tests, and of them 39 tested positive for virus, after two teachers and a student of that same school were found infected in the previous PCR tests.
He said all the infected were asked to be in home isolation.
The other schools in the area were also closed and that the District COVID Crisis Management Center (DCMCC), Baglung, have been asked to seal off ward nos 12, 13 and 14 have of Baglung Municipality, according to the municipality.
