By TRN Online, Kathamndu, Sep. 3: A total of 19 districts of five Provinces have been recorded to have more than 500 active cases of COVID-19 as of now.
Districts of Province 1, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali Province have been detected with more than 500 active cases.
According to Krishna Prasad Poudel, Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population, 19 districts have had more than 500 active cases of COVID-19 infection till now.
Three districts of Province 1, eight districts of Bagmati Province, six districts of Gandaki Province, 1-1 district of Lumbini, and Karnali Province have recorded more than 500 active cases, he added.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), Morang, Sunsari and Jhapa of Province 1, Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Chitwan, Makwanpur, Kavrepalanchok, Sindhupalchowk and Nuwakot of Bagmati Province, Nawalparasi East, Kaski, Baglung, Gorkha, Syangja and Tanahu of Gandaki Province, Rupandehi of Lumbini and Surkhet of Karnali.
Likewise, 20 districts have more than 200 active cases of COVID-19 infection. Dhankuta, Illam, Dhanusha, Bara, Saptari, Siraha, Dolakha, Dhading, Sindhuli, Ramechhap, Lamjung, Parbat, Dang, Gulmi, Palpa, Banke, Bardiya, Jumla, Kailali and Kanchanpur, have more than 200 active cases.
