Jajarkot, Nov 6 : At least 15 bridges are going to be constructed along the Jajarkot-Dolpa road section under the Bheri Corridor.
Minister for Forest and Environment Shakti Bahadur Basnet said the construction of the bridges is taking place from the current fiscal year after completing the design cost estimation.
Talking to RSS, Minister Basnet said, "We are completing the design cost estimation of all bridges within a couple of months. Next is the construction phase".
Minister Basnet, who has arrived his home town, said the construction of eight bridges along the Jajarkot section and seven bridges along the Dolpa section would kick-start this year.
Bridges would be built over the Jhurme rivulet, Nalgad river, Kholekhet, Sapnekhet, Khamauri rivulet, Tratragad, Tansugad and Bheri river along the Jajarkot section.
Likewise, bridges would be constructed over the Rijigar rivulet, Usum rivulet, Karawgad rivulet, Bheri river Khadang, Khadang rivulet, Chhalgad rivulet and Tripurasundari Bheri River along the Dolpa section.
The Bridge Division under the Department of Roads has taken the initiative. ---
