Lahan, April 14: Siraha police have held 12 persons involved in throwing stones at police team.
Local residents of Siraha municipality-17, Paterwa had pelted stones at police team deputed from the District Police Office Siraha to convince people who were defying the lockdown orders enforced by the government to contain COVID-19 risks.
A scuffle between the locals and police team also emerged where four police personnel were injured. Police had held 12 locals to take the situation under control.
All those held have been kept at district police office and legal action has been taken ahead, shared Siraha Police Spokesperson and DSP Binod Ghimire.
