Karnali, Dec 31 : Minister for Social Development of the Karnali Province government, Dal Rawal, said that the 10th National Games would be held in Karnali.
At a program to administer the oath of office and secrecy to the newly-appointed office-bearer and members of the Karnali Province Sports Council on Wednesday, Minister Rawal said the provincial government would engage its all-out efforts towards developing the necessary infrastructure for the conduction of the 10th National Games.
“The province government would focus on developing infrastructures necessary for organizing the national games”, Minister Rawal added.
“We have a very good opportunity and challenges as well”, he said.
The Minister further noted that the professional human resources serving the sports sector and effective sports teams are our strengths which have enhanced our optimism for progress in the field.
“The Council that took a complete shape since Wednesday would work in developing sports infrastructures and map which sports event could be organized in which districts of the province”.
He said the ministry has set a target to build a province-level stadium with the capacity of 10,000 audiences in province headquarters, Surkhet.
The Minister wished for the successful tenure of the newly-appointed office-bearer and members of the council.
