Kathmandu, Sept.24: An anthology of poetry “Yetai Katai” by seven cotemporary poets has hit the market.
Poets RM Dangol, Gobinda Nepal, Chhabiraman Silwal, Tank Upreti, Thakur Belwase, Prollas Sindhuliya and Mani Lohani’s70 poems are included in the collection.
All the seven poets established in their respective field seem to be aware of the power of poetry, its beauty and seriousness.
The readers will read not only the latest picture of the country but also the tragic life of the new generation people and the eternal light of opportunity in the poems.
While reading the poems, one can feel the wounds of war, political instability and people’s desire for survival and their struggle for survival.
The publisher believes that the poems written on difficult circumstances and times will satisfy the connoisseurs of poetry.
According to BN Pustak Sansar’s President, Surya BC, they published the timely creation and skillful works of the great contemporary poets who have established themselves in poetry writing during in the last 35 years as a single literary work.
The book is priced at Rs. 300.
All seven poets said that they would form a committee called "P Seven" to begin the work of studying, researching and translating poetry.
